The girls returned to action this weekend following the start of the 26/27 training and it really showed on the pitch with some fantastic improvements across the team. Jess delivered some excellent passing throughout, while Freya put in a strong performance in goal. Peyton was solid in defence (and even brought some dancing skills!), and Isla L impressed with some powerful left-foot strikes.
There was also great attacking intent from Daisy, Lily, Abigail, Isla W, and Isla-Rose, who all worked tirelessly going forward.

With a great showing in goals and a huge left foot, it was well deserved!
While the results didn’t quite go our way this weekend, the team is clearly getting back into the rhythm, and it’s only a matter of time before those performances turn into wins. Plenty of positives to build on!

This weekend marked a welcome return to action for our U9 girls as they kicked off their 2026/27 campaign after a short break.
It was a day of mixed results, but more importantly, it was fantastic to see the girls back on the pitch doing what they love — full of energy, smiles, and even a few celebratory dances along the way!
The off-season proved a challenging one, with the squad unable to train due to damage at their usual training venue. However, thanks to the dedication and quick thinking of our coaches, alternative arrangements are now in place, ensuring the girls can continue to develop and enjoy their football.

A special mention goes to Jess, who not only scored both of our goals on the day but also earned a well-deserved Player of the Day award for her outstanding effort. Well done, Jess!
We’re excited to see how this talented group grows and progresses in their second season — the future is bright!
