Introducing the Cardiff Allstars Youth Team! This squad is full of energy, talent, and a love for the game. They’re learning, growing, and developing their skills together while enjoying every moment on the pitch.

The Youth Team embodies teamwork, determination, and the spirit of Cardiff Allstars. Every player contributes, every match is a chance to improve, and every training session is an opportunity to have fun. We’re excited to see them take on the season and make their mark!

29th March 2026 -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth vs
Sully Sports FC Youth - Blacks

Our Youth team also faced a tough test this weekend against second-placed Sully Sports FC Youth Blacks.

A strong first-half performance saw the Allstars go into the break just 1-0 down, showing good organisation and work rate. While the second half did not go their way, there were still clear positives to take from the game.

As a first-year team, the progress being made week by week is clear to see. The players continue to learn, improve and grow together, and there is a real belief within the group.

We know what this team is capable of, and with continued hard work, the results will come.

10th January 2026 -
Lessons learnt in the Youths 2026 debut!

After the fixture was rescheduled from Sunday to Friday due to weather-related pitch cancellations, our Youth team came into the game eager to secure a positive result.

Despite a strong effort and commitment throughout, it wasn’t to be on this occasion, with the match finishing 1–5 in favour of Barry Athletic. On another day, with a couple of decisions going differently, the outcome could have been very different.

The boys continued to work hard until the final whistle and showed real determination despite the scoreline.

Goal: Kristian Roach

30th November -
Young Allstars keep learning despite defeat!

Result: Lost 4–1 vs Canton Rangers

Despite a brilliant goal from Josh Lock, set up nicely by Jacob Howe, the boys couldn’t quite find their rhythm today. It wasn’t their result, but it was another important learning experience for this young and developing team. The lessons from today will be taken into training as the boys continue to grow, improve, and build confidence.

UppaAllstars!

16th November -
Cardiff Allstars Youth pause due to storm!

Another Allstars team has fallen victim to the storm this weekend. With fixtures called off, the boys will take the opportunity to rest up and be ready to go next weekend.

9th November -
Cardiff Allstars Youth v Cogan Coronation AFC

Unfortunately, this weekend’s fixture was postponed due to pitch conditions.
The boys will use the unexpected break to rest up, refocus, and train hard in preparation for next weekend’s match.

Even without a game, the Allstars spirit stays strong!

2nd November -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth v Ely Rangers FC Youth!

The Allstars Youth side fell to a 6–2 defeat against a strong Ely Rangers team this weekend.
It wasn’t the result they hoped for, but the boys showed real effort and spirit throughout — and were unlucky not to come away with more from the game. You can’t win them all, but heads won’t drop and lessons will be learned as they look to bounce back stronger next time.

Goals: Josh Lock (2)
Assists: Ruari Strong, Jacob Howe

Player of the Match: Josh Lock

Plenty of positives to take from the performance — onwards and upwards, Allstars!

26th October -
Fixture Postponed!

Unfortunately, this weekend’s game against Sully Sports FC Youth has been postponed.
The team will take the rest, recharge, and go again next week!

19th October -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth v Heath Park Rangers FC Green

The Cardiff Allstars Youth side battled hard but fell just short in a 2–1 defeat against a strong Heath Park Rangers FC Youth Green team.

Despite the result, there were plenty of positives to take away — as the saying goes, sometimes you learn more from a loss than a win. This special group showed great effort, attitude, and teamwork throughout, and they’ll take the lessons from today forward as they continue to grow together.

Goal: Josh Lock
Assist: Kristian Roach

Player of the Match: Kristian Roach for an outstanding performance, work ethic, and commitment across the pitch.

A narrow defeat, but plenty to be proud of — onwards and upwards, Allstars!

28th September -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth v Ferndale Athletic AFC Youth

Cardiff Allstars FC Youth kicked off their South Wales Youth League Cup campaign with a tense, well-contested encounter against Ferndale Athletic AFC Youth, narrowly falling to a 4–3 defeat.

The Allstars showed great spirit throughout, with Riley Jenkins finding the net twice – both goals created by excellent assists from Ethan Woods and Ruari Strong. Strong himself also got on the scoresheet, confidently converting from the penalty spot to keep his side in the contest.

For his goal, assist, and influential performance across the pitch, Ruari Strong was named Player of the Match.

Despite the narrow loss, the team displayed determination and attacking flair, promising plenty more to come as their season continues.

21st September -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth v Llanrumney FC Youth

Our Youth side faced a tough challenge on Sunday against a strong Llanrumney FC team, falling to a 5–0 defeat.

Despite the scoreline, the lads showed plenty of fight and never stopped working for each other. There were periods of determined defending, committed tackles, and glimpses of attacking play that showed real promise.

Mason Nurse stood out with his work rate and resilience, earning himself the Man of the Match award. His effort and attitude summed up the spirit of the squad on a difficult day.

The result doesn’t reflect the commitment and effort put in – there’s lots to take forward, and with continued hard work, the performances and results will come.

7th September -
Cardiff Allstars FC Youth v Splott Albion Youth

Cardiff Allstars FC Youth took on Splott Albion Youth in what turned out to be a close and exciting game. Despite their best efforts, the Allstars narrowly lost 4–3, but the performance was full of positives for this brand-new side.

The goals came from Riley Jenkins, Ruari Strong and Benjamin Higgins, showing the attacking talent already shining through in the team. Assists were provided by Ruari Strong and Nathan Ameachi, highlighting the teamwork and creativity on display.

For such a new squad, the players worked incredibly hard, showing determination, energy, and plenty of spirit throughout the match. While the result didn’t go their way this time, the signs are very promising, and there’s lots to build on as the Youth team continues to grow and develop.
