Cardiff Allstars FC v Splott Albion Mens Firsts
Our First Team faced a tough challenge this weekend against league leaders Splott Albion.
The visitors started quickly, finding the net early on, which made for a difficult afternoon. Despite this, the Allstars showed great character and continued to compete throughout the full 90 minutes, never letting their heads drop and continuing to work hard for one another.
While the result did not go our way, there were still positives to take from the performance, particularly the effort and commitment shown against a strong side.
The focus now turns to the next fixture against AFC Whitchurch, where the team will be looking to respond and put in a strong performance. We know what this group is capable of, and they will be determined to show that in the next game.
21st March 2026 -
Cardiff Allstars FC v Cardiff Bay FC
The Allstars made a strong start, with Matt Oliver opening the scoring in the 23rd minute after a positive opening spell. Despite this, Cardiff Bay responded before the break, and a difficult period — including some contentious decisions — saw the Allstars go into half time 3–1 down.
Cardiff Bay extended their lead early in the second half, but the response from the Allstars showed real character. Billy Osabuohien pulled a goal back, followed by Tyler Roach converting from the penalty spot to bring it to 4–3 with five minutes remaining, setting up a tense finish.
Pushing for an equaliser, the Allstars continued to press, but Cardiff Bay managed to add a late goal to close out the game.
After a long break due to postponed fixtures, this was always going to be a challenging match against strong opposition. The effort, determination, and resilience shown throughout were clear, and the team will take plenty from this performance as they prepare for next weekend’s fixture against Splott Albion.
Goals: Matt Oliver, Billy Osabuohien, Tyler Roach
Assists: Zach Stephens, Cameron St John
19th February 2026 -
Cardiff Allstars FC v Clwb Sparta FC
A tough but spirited game for our Allstars today.
Two early goals from Clwb Sparta gave them the advantage and left our Allstars with an uphill battle. Showing great determination, the team pulled one back before halftime to go in at 1–2.
Clwb Sparta struck again early in the second half, but giving up is never the Allstars way. The lads showed real character, fighting back to score two goals in five minutes and level the match at 3–3.
Unfortunately, it wasn’t our day, and Clwb Sparta found a late goal to finish the game 3–4.
Some fantastic performances across the pitch and a true never-say-die attitude from the whole squad — plenty to be proud of.
Heads up, Allstars — on we go to next week!

Cardiff Allstars FC v Cwrt Y Vil FC
Cardiff Allstars FC were narrowly beaten by Cwrt Y Vil FC, with the visitors taking a 6–3 victory in an eventful match.

The game took a difficult turn early on when Matt Oliver received a red card, reducing Allstars to 10 men and threatening to let the game slip away. Despite the setback, the team showed resilience and character, staying competitive throughout.
A strong debut from Lewis Llewellyn added a positive note, while a stern and focused half-time team talk from Coach Pinnell helped refocus the squad and lift the second-half performance.
Although the Allstars will be disappointed not to come away with a result, it remains early in the season, with plenty still to play for and positives to build on.

Both sides continued to push for a winner in a tense and competitive encounter, but neither could break the deadlock in regular time. Unfortunately, the Allstars were edged out in the penalty shootout, bringing an end to their cup run.
